The centre of the European pentagon (b) is at 46°52N (twice 23°26) and lies on the axis of the poles of the ecliptic at precisely 23°26 to the axis of the poles of the equator.
At Chartres (48°27N) the sunrise at the Winter solstice is exactly at 30° to the axis of the poles of the ecliptic. The key sun rises over the European zodiac are at the dates given in drawing E. They create at those instants waves of energy which cross the landscape at 30° to each other. The landscape is clearly influenced by the pattern of triangles formed by the waves of energy.
